The inaugural 3M Open, a PGA Tour event, comes to the TPC Twin Cities July 4-7 (tournament days) in Blaine, Minn. It is almost 50 years to the day that the last regular professional tour event was held here. 
 

  • Field Update: World No. 14 Tony Finau is the latest top-ranked player in the world to commit to the 3M Open, scheduled for July 1-7 at the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine. Other top-25 players previously committed are: Brooks Koepka (1), Bryson DeChambeau (9), Jason Day (16), Patrick Reed (23) and Phil Mickelson (24).
 
  • U.S. Open: When the first round of the U.S. Open begins Thursday at Pebble Beach, there will be 35 players in the field, who are also currently scheduled to play in the 3M Open. Two of those—Brooks Koepka and Lucas Glover are U.S. Open champions. Other major champions playing this week and the 3M Open are Keegan Bradley, Jason Day, Jason Dufner, Patrick Reed and Phil Mickelson. Reminder: Players have until 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, June 28th to officially commit to compete in the 3M Open and can withdraw at any time.
 
  • Sponsor Exemptions: Two highly decorated amateur players and teammates at Oklahoma State, Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff, will be offered sponsor exemptions by the tournament. Both are expected to turn pro following this week’s U.S. Open. Hovland was low amateur at this year’s Masters Tournament and Wolff was the NCAA individual champion this year. 
 
  • 2018-2019 PGA TOUR Schedule: The inaugural 3M Open is the 37th of 43 tournaments on the regular season FedExCup schedule prior to the FedExCup Playoffs.
 
  • Tickets: Fans can find ticket and hospitality options on the tournament’s website www.3MOpen.com. Here, fans can also find two hospitality experiences which include admission to Zac Brown Band concert and firework show scheduled for Friday, July 5.
