FORMAT CHANGE FOR SECTION CUP CHALLENGE

Senior Tour

The format for the Senior Tour Section Cup Challenge at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club, August 19-10 has been changed to a 36-Hole Individual Stroke Play Event.

The Section Cup Challenge has provided so many fun memories since it began nine years ago! However, the last few years it has been more difficult to get even numbers from each section to create teams and set up optimal competitive matches. So this year we thought we would try something a little different and chose a shoot-out format. Unfortunately, the wide variety in numbers from each section and division have made it difficult to keep a team oriented competition.
 
With that in mind, we have decided to change the format to a 36-hole individual stroke play competition. Like other individual stroke play competitions, we will have performance points and gift cards.  However, at this event the performance points will be higher and the gift cards more valuable in number of places awarded and prize amount. We will also include on-course events and buy everyone a couple drinks after their first round! Dacotah Ridge GC is a great golf course sure to provide an exciting experience to all playing!

• Open to Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern, Women and Dual Members only.
• Performance Pts to be awarded: 1st-65, 2nd-55, 3rd-45, 4th-40, 5th-35, 6th-30, 7th-25, 8th-20
