2016-17 PGA TOUR

Neil Johnson, River Falls                           2               --

* -- Danielson is not an official member of the PGA Tour; so he is not on the money list. If he were, he would be No. 229.

(The top 125 players from the FedEx Point Standings, which are similar to but not the same as the money list, went into the FedEx Playoffs, a four-tournament series that began last week with the Northern Trust at Glen Oaks Club in Old Westbury, N.Y. It will continue this week with the Dell Technologies Championship. At the end of the FedEx Playoffs (the last tournament will be the Tour Championship at East Lake GC in Atlanta (Sept. 21-24), the player with the most points will receive a bonus of $10 million. Those top 125 players in the point standings will also be fully exempt for the 2017-18 PGA Tour season. So will the top 125 from the regular season money list. Players from 126 to 150 will have limited status for the 2017-18 season. Players from 126 through 200 will go into the Web.com Playoffs, which is explained below.)

(The top 25 players from the Web.com regular season money list will receive PGA Tour Cards for the 2017-18 season, which will begin the first week in Oct. with the Safeway Open in Napa, Calif. Those top 25 and the next 50 on the money list -- along with Nos. 126 through 200 on the PGA Tour money list -- will go into the Web.com Playoffs, and that will begin Thursday with the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship at the Ohio State's iconic Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. From that group of 150 players, the top 25 finishers, not counting those who have already earned PGA Tour Cards, will gain status for the 2017-18 PGA Tour season. Like the FedEx Playoffs, the Web.com Playoffs are a four-tournament series. They will conclude with the Web.com Tour Championship at Atlantic Beach CC in Atlantic Beach, Fla., Sept. 28-Oct. 1. In addition to getting into the playoffs, those players who finished in the top 75 on the Web.com regular season money list will be fully exempt for the Web.com Tour next year.)
