(The top 125 players from the FedEx Point Standings, which are similar to but not the same as the money list, went into the FedEx Playoffs, a four-tournament series that began in August. It ended with the Tour Championship at East Lake GC in Atlanta on Sunday. Justin Thomas was the big winner, finising first in the Points Standings -- and receiving a bonus of $10 million as a result. Those top 125 players in the point standings will also be fully exempt for the 2017-18 PGA Tour season. So will the top 125 from the regular season money list. Players from 126 to 150 will have limited status for the 2017-18 season. Players from 126 through 200 will go into the Web.com Playoffs, which is explained below.)
