Klein and Scheuerman Claim Twin Cities Net 4-Ball Title

Scott Klein, of The Minikahda Club, and Tony Scheuerman, of Stillwater Country Club, combined for a net four-ball score of 61 to win the A Division of the Twin Cities Net Four Ball Championship, June 30 at Hiawatha Golf Course in Minneapolis, Minn.

Klein and Scheuerman’s round included a back nine 28, thanks to consecutive net eagles on holes 13 and 14. Two teams tied for second place at net 63:  Tom Sletten and Nick Martindale, of Theodore Wirth and Hiawatha golf clubs, respectively, and Eric Sisler and Corey Pederson, of Theodore Wirth GC.

Pat Leary and Howard Goldman took B Division honors with a net score of 62, powered in part by Leary’s 68 on his own ball. Greg Scanlon and Steve Fischer, of Theodore Wirth GC, finished in second at net 69.
