Peterson and Retka Shoot 78 to Qualify for MGA Senior Players' Championship

  MANKATO, Minn. – Shooting 7-over par 78 Wednesday at Mankato Golf Club, Tryg Peterson and Darrell Retka shared medalist honors and also qualified for the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Senior Players’ Championship.

A field of nine players competed for two available spots for this year’s championship, which will be played co-currently with the MGA Mid-Players’ Championship June 15-17 at Wayzata Country Club.

Rick Sandretto, Boulder Pointe Golf Club, and Mike Fermoyle, Southview Country Club, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
