In order to comply with the USGA Handicap System, golf clubs must complete 2 main requirements outlined in the USGA Compliance Checklist between 2008 and 2011: 1. Handicap Seminar Requirement: One of the main requirements is that each golf club must send a representative to a USGA Handicap Seminar, or complete an Online Handicap Seminar, and pass a test exhibiting his/her knowledge about the system. Compliance Confirmation Form: Another main requirement is that each golf club must identify a handicap chairperson and fill out a form acknowledging full compliance with the USGA Handicap System.
