USGA Handicap System Licensing & Certification 2008-2011
In order to comply with the USGA Handicap System, golf clubs must complete 2 main requirements outlined in the USGA Compliance Checklist between 2008 and 2011:
1. Handicap Seminar Requirement: One of the main requirements is that each golf club must send a representative to a USGA Handicap Seminar, or complete an online handicap seminar, and pass a test exhibiting his/her knowledge about the system. 2. Compliance Confirmation Form: Another main requirement is that each golf club must have a representative sign a Compliance Confirmation form acknowledging full compliance with the USGA Handicap System.
