Q. Who is eligible to participate?
A.
Entry to Associate Member Days is open to amateur golfers who are current Associate Members of the Minnesota Golf Association and whose club is a member club of the MGA. There is no USGA Handicap Index limit to participate. If you are not an MGA Associate Member or not sure if you are, give us a call and we will be glad to help you. Q. What is the format?

The format is 2 out of 4 net best-ball. All foursomes that sign up together will play together.

Q. What types of prizes are awarded?
A.
Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded to the lowest net teams. There are also individual proximity prizes.

Q. Is there a trophy?
A.
No, the Associate Member Days are designed to be fun with little competition. They allow golfers to enjoy great golf courses at a great rate.

Q. When can I sign up?

. Registration begins the first Monday in February.

Q. When is the entry deadline?
A
. Entry deadlines are one week before each event.

Q. How do I enter events?
A.
  You can sign up online with a credit card, or download the application and mail it in with a check.

Q. Where will I get my information about the event?
A.
You will be able to get all your information online, which will include; pairings, notice to competitors, course information and results.

Q. Are substitutions allowed?
A.
Yes, substitutions are allowed up to the day of the event. Remember, your substitute must also be an Associate Member of the MGA.

Q. Does the MGA have a dress code for Associate Member Days?
A.
For all MGA tournaments, players must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing. All entrants are required to wear either golf slacks, shorts, or golf skirts that are of the appropriate length, and shirts with collars and sleeves (sleeveless tops are permitted for women). Examples of attire NOT ACCEPTABLE include the following: Short shorts, athletic shorts, tennis shorts, cut- offs, jeans, jean shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, sweats.
