Q. What happens if too many players sign up for one event?
A.
For individual events, a random draw will be made after the close of entries. The field for each event is limited to 120 players. After the event, those still on the waiting list will receive a designation that prevents them from being wait listed again. That means that, at most, each Tour member will only have to sit out one oversubscribed event.
For team events, entries are received on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a team event has filled, a wait list will be created as more entries come in.

A.
In each event, the top eight players in the net and the top eight players in the Gross competition in each section for every event will receive Senior Tour Performance Points. A player's top four finishes in the Net and Gross competitions will be used to compute his total Net and total Gross performance points for the year. After all events have been played, each section's top four players in the Net competition and top four players in the Gross competition (in each division) will be invited to the Senior Tour Finals. A total of 64 players will be invited to play in the Finals.

Q. How do I enter events?
1. Entry forms, entry deadlines and priority:

Entry forms for all events will be available for printout from our website by mid-February and mailed to Senior Tour players without internet access. We begin accepting event entry forms on March 15. Just like our membership process please do not send or drop off event entry forms prior to the start of event registration on March 15.

There is a slightly different process between signing up for Individual events and signing up for the Two-Day, Two-Man Team events.

There is priority registration for Two-Man, Two-Day Team events. With the beginning of event registration on March 15, all Two-Man, Two-Day Team event entries will be prioritized as they are received in our office on a first come, first serve basis. If a team event fills, then a wait list will be created as additional entries are received in our office.

Unlike the Team events, there is no priority for individual event registration. You just can't miss an event entry deadline to have an opportunity to play. For an oversubscribed event we will have a random drawing to create a wait list for that event. Players will be notified if they have been selected to the wait list and will be contacted again if an opening becomes available. All of the event entry deadlines are listed on our website in each section's schedule page, as well as, shown on all entry forms.

For those players who are wait listed for an individual event, they each receive a wait list designation to not be wait listed again for the rest of the season. This only applies to the individual event wait lists. For those wait listed any Two-Day, Two-Man event there is no wait list designation.

2. Handbook:
Please read your Senior Tour Handbook carefully because it contains information which will answer most of your questions. The Handbook is available on the Senior Tour homepage. Be sure to note what year the Handbook is since we do make changes from year to year.

3. Event Pairings and Notice to Competitors
Within a week after an event's entry deadline, you will receive an email (or a letter via mail if you don't have an email address) including Pairings, the Notice to Competitors and a Map to the host course.
