FedEx Cup Points List

Final

The top 125 players on the list made it to the FedEx Cup Playoffs, a three-tournament series. After the first tournament, the top 70 advanced to the second, and after the second, the top 30 advanced to the PGA Tour Championship (Aug. 22-25) at East Lake in Atlanta. Rory McIlroy won the tournament -- and the $15 million first prize! (Last place in the Tour Championship -- in other words, 30th place -- made $400,000 that week.) Those ranked from No. 126 through 200 went into the Korn Ferry Finals, a series of three tournaments that began with the Nationwide Childrens Hospital Championship (Aug. 15-18) in Columbus, Ohio, and ended with the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Newburgh, Ind., (Aug. 30-Sept. 2).
