Klasse Advances to Match Play for Ninth Consecutive Year at U.S. Senior Women's Amateur

  VERO BEACH, Fla. – Posting a round of 78 during Sunday’s final round of stroke play at the 2018 Senior Women's Amateur Championship at Orchid Island Beach and Golf Club, Leigh Klasse finished in a tie for 14th place to advance to the match play portion of the tournament for the ninth consecutive year.
 
Klasse, a member of the Minnesota Golf Hall of Fame, fired a round of even par 72 to begin the championship Saturday before her round of 78 Sunday.
 
Seeded No. 15 when match play begins Monday, Klasse will face Kim Eaton, of Mesa, Ariz., during the Round of 64.
