Wohlers Moves on to Match Play From 16-for-12 Playoff at U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship

  CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Minnesotan Bradley Wohlers carded a par on the first playoff hole early Monday in a 16-for-12 playoff to qualify for match play at the 2018 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship at Charlotte Country Club.
 
Wohlers, from Vadnais Heights, Minn., posted rounds of 74 and 73, respectively, to finish the first two rounds of stroke play in a tie for 53rd at 147 Sunday. Following Monday’s playoff, Wohlers will now face Stewart Hagestad, from Newport Beach, Calif., at 10 a.m. to open match play in the Round of 64.
