Our mission is to provide a vision for the future of the game by supporting programs and initiatives that enhance the golfer experience, drive participation among youth, beginners and disabled golfers, endeavor to make the game more sustainable, and foster educational and experiential opportunities for children and young adults who are interested in golf and who represent the game’s future in Minnesota. 
 

About the MGA Foundation


The Minnesota Golf Association Foundation (MGA Foundation) is the charitable affiliate of the Minnesota Golf Association. The MGA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation and contributions are tax-deductible. It assists the golf industry in Minnesota by providing charitable support for two scholarship programs, the Evans Scholars Program and the MWGA Scholarship, and by administration of the Minnesota Youth on Course Program.
There are several ways you can help the MGA Foundation succeed in its mission to better the game of golf in Minnesota:
  • Purchase the Play Golf Minnesota License Plate, click here;
  • Become a sustaining donor of the MGA Foundation;
  • Make a donation to MN Youth on Course or the MGA Foundation Women's Scholarship.
*Donate to the MGA Foundation through the end of 2020, and your gift will be matched by the National Youth on Course organization, effectively doubling your financial support.

About MN Youth on Course

Provides youth ages 6-18 life changing opportunities through golf, including access to golf for $5 or less, paid high school internships, caddie programs and college scholarships. Find out more.

About the MGA Foundation Women's Scholarship

The Minnesota Golf Association Foundation Women's Scholarship (formerly the MWGA Foundation Scholarship established in 1998) supports young women in their collegiate ventures, and has committed more than $800,000 in scholarships to 74 recipients. The criteria for judging applicants are based on their academic excellence, financial need, quality of character, and interest or involvement in golf.  Find out more.
