Alsleben Medals With 69 to Qualify for MN State Open at Bunker Hills

COON RAPIDS, Minn. – Ryan Alsleben carded a 3-under par 69 Tuesday at Bunker Hills Golf Club to earn medalist honors and qualify for the Minnesota State Open, along with 16 others.

The qualifier was held to determine the field at this year’s 97th championship which will be played July 25-27 at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids, Minn.

Alsleben, Crow River Golf Club, qualified for the championship along with Yarri Bryn (Theodore Wirth Golf Club), Chris Conklin (Hazeltine National Golf Club), Matt Vandelac (Minnesota Golf Academy) and Billy Lewis (Hiawatha Golf Club) all of whom finished at 2-over par 74 Tuesday.

Ryan Gallagher, Chomonix Golf Club, and Jacques Wilson, Chaska Town Course, qualified with eight others shooting a 3-over par 75, while three others qualified at 4-over par 76.

Conrad Hahne, Links at Northfork, Tyler Lowenstein, Rush Creek Golf Club, and Jon Holmes, Valleywood Golf Course, finished as first, second and third alternates, respectively.
