Hillier Cards 69 at Detroit Country Club to Qualify for MGA Players' Championship

 DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Shooting a 2-under par 69 Thursday at Detroit Country Club, Todd Hillier earned medalist honors as well as a place in the 2015 Minnesota Golf Association Players’ Championship.

A field of 16 players competed for two qualifying spots to this year’s tournament, which will be played June 22-24 at Spring Hill Golf Club in Wayzata, Minn.

Hillier, Windsong Farm, will be joined at the championship by Jack Elliot, Meadows Golf Club, who fired a 1-under par 70 Thursday to claim the final qualifying position.

Beau Hanson, Detroit Country Club, and Riley Johnson, Meadows Golf Club, finished as first and second alternates, respectively.
