2024 Ms. and Mr. Minnesota Golf

BECKER, Minn. – The Mille Lacs boys golf team carried a 20-stroke lead into Wednesday’s final round at the 2013 Minnesota State High School Class A Golf Tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Club and never looked back as it captured the title with a team score of 652.
Junior Luke Johanson of Southwest Christian School shot a final round even-par 72 earning medalist honors. Johanson finished seventh at the 2012 tournament.
Mille Lacs was led by senior Grant Exsted who carded an opening round 68, but finished the tournament at 144 (68-76) tied for second.
Murray County Central finished fourth a year ago but overcame a 3-stroke deficit Wednesday to finish at 671, five strokes in front of defending champion Legacy Christian Academy.
Ortonville senior Jade Hasslen followed up his opening round 3-under par 69 with a 3-over 75 Wednesday to finish at 144, tied for second.
Last year’s individual medalist Cordell Weber, Martin County West, finished at 158 Wednesday, tied for sixth place.
