Kruger Earns Medalist Honors at A Girls Tournament; Legacy Christian Comes From Behind

  BECKER, Minn. – The Legacy Christian Academy girls golf team came from behind to win the 2013 Minnesota State High School Class A Golf Tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Club.

Badger-Greenbush-Middle River took the opening round lead by seven shots but was unable to hold the lead as it finished the team competition at 771, 19-strokes behind champion Legacy Christian Academy.

Senior Hannah Kruger, Russell Tyler Ruthton, earned medalist honors by finishing at 163 (80-83) Wednesday. Kruger was the opening round leader and went on to win by four strokes over Lauren Laffen of Sleepy Eye (167).
