Baker Goes Low at Minnesota Boys' Junior PGA Championship to Come From Behind

 BIWABIK, Minn. – Entering Tuesday’s final round of the 45^th Minnesota Boys’ Junior PGA Championship seven shots off the lead, Sam Baker carded an eagle and five birdies to stage a remarkable come from behind victory by firing a bogey-free 65 to claim a five-stroke victory at The Quarry at Giants Ridge.
 
Carding a 6-over 78 during the opening round Monday, Baker quickly got to work during his second round by carding an eagle at the second hole. Following a pair of birdies at the fifth and seventh holes, Baker quickly made up ground by turning in 4-under.
 
Baker carried momentum to his final nine holes Tuesday by carding birdie at the par-4 10^th and added rolled in his fourth birdie of the round at the 13^th. Cruising through his inward nine, Baker carded one final birdie at the par-5 16^th to finish at 1-under 143 to claim a five-stroke victory over Carson Herron and Bailey Johnston, who finished in a tie for second at 4-over 148.
