Sept. 23 – Oct. 2 at Hazeltine National Golf Club
The 2016 Ryder Cup will be held from Friday, Sept. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 2 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota. Below is the full schedule of events taking place each day. All events take place at Hazeltine National Golf Club unless otherwise designated. All times Central.
Friday, Sept. 23
10 a.m. – 6 p.m. 2016 Ryder Cup Shops Grand Opening – free/open to public
Ryder Cup Shops is an 49,000 sq. ft. shopping experience. The four-day presale is free and open to the public, Sept. 23-26 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Fans can shop top golf apparel from Ralph Lauren, adidas, Nike, Under Armour, Cutter & Buck, Greg Norman, New Era, and more. The Shops also include an extensive and exclusive selection of accessories, gifts, and memorabilia. The onsite merchandise megastore will have upwards of 50,000 golf balls, 65,000 golf shirts, 100,000 hats, and more throughout the shop. Monday, Sept. 26
7:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. Junior Ryder Cup (2:00/2:12/2:24/2:36/2:48/3:00 Tee Times)
Mixed Four-Ball (6 Groups of 4) – 9 Holes (1,2,3,4,14,15,16,17,18). The Junior Ryder Cup will take place at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, and feature 24 junior golfers representing sevens states from the U.S. and eight European countries. The U.S. team is comprised of six boys and six girls who are U.S. citizens and graduating high school in 2017, or younger. The format will consist of six foursome matches on Monday morning; six mixed four-ball matches on Monday afternoon; and 12 singles matches on Tuesday. A total of 12 1/2 points are needed to win the cup, out of the 24 possible points on the board.

Tuesday, Sept. 27
8 a.m. Europe Team On-Course Practice Begins – Open until 6 p.m.
9:30 a.m. United States Team On-Course Practice Begins – Open until 6 p.m.
2:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. Celebrity Match (2:00/2:15/2:30/2:45 Tee Times)
Scramble Format (4 Groups of 4) – 9 Holes (1,2,3,4,14,15,16,17,18)
The Celebrity Match is a nine-hole scramble and will include celebrity participation from the United States and Europe. This year’s U.S. celebrities Todd English, Huey Lewis, Rob Riggle, Kurt Russell, Kelly Slater, Jeremy Roenick, Michael Phelps, and Bill Murray. European celebrities include Andriy Shevchenko, José Andrés, Alessandro Del Piero, Niall Horan, Paul O’Connell, Martina Navratilova, John Regis, and Nigel Lythgoe. *Line-up subject to change

Wednesday, Sept. 28
7 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Ryder Cup Captains Challenge – at Minneapolis Golf Club
8 a.m. Europe Team On-Course Practice Begins – Open until 6 p.m.
9:30 a.m. United States Team On-Course Practice Begins – Open until 6 p.m.
2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Junior Ryder Cup Friendship Match
Participants in the 2016 Junior Ryder Cup will also play a nine-hole, Friendship Match on Sept. 28, at Hazeltine and will be announced live during the 41st Ryder Cup Opening Ceremonies to a global audience on Sept. 29. The “Friendship Match” at Hazeltine will feature a combined mixed four-ball, with six groupings of four players that include one girl and one boy from both Europe and the United States.
Thursday, Sept. 29
8 a.m. Europe Team On-Course Practice Begins – Open until 6 p.m.
9:30 a.m. United States Team On-Course Practice Begins – Open until 6 p.m.
12 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Ryder Cup Captains Match (12:00/12:15 Tee Times)
Scramble Format (4 Groups of 4) – 9 Holes (1,2,3,4,14,15,16,17,18)
The Ryder Cup Captains Match will continue its tradition at the 2016 Ryder Cup. There will be two matches featuring past Ryder Cup captains from the United States and Europe. Each match will be a competition between two teams, with two captains per team.
4 p.m. – 4:50 p.m. Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony will feature team introductions, live music, anthems, fireworks, and special appearances from two golf legends. All spectators with a Thursday, Sept. 29 ticket are invited to attend the Opening Ceremony at the Practice Range.
