So we walked up on the fifth hole, triple bogey, double bogey, and bogeys in the previous four holes; first round of the year; I pulled out my nine iron, not expecting anything different. I hit the ball, thinking it was going to be way to short of the green. It hit the front edge of the green, bounced three times, and rolled at the perfect angle to get in the hole. My friend, John, yelled in excitement and sprinted to the hole, while I stood at the tee box, mouth wide open. I ran after him and sure enough, it was in the hole. I will never forget this day!!
